Like many buildings in this delightful town, The Barn is interesting. Erected in traditional Kentish style with lots of oak beams and columns throughout and great character. The element of barn life is themed throughout the premises with artefacts and other decorated elements. In addition there is an award winning garden and terrace in which to eat and drink.
The Barn has been privately owned by the same two partners, both of whom have a wealth of experience in running bars and restaurants, since 1992 and the same management team has successfully operated the business for the owners since that time. In addition many staff have worked at The Barn for many years. All of this greatly helps to ensure consistent high standards through their commitment and genuine pleasure in working in a very attractive pub restaurant with character and atmosphere.
