In addition to the excellent food and drink at great value prices, at The Barn, Tunbridge Wells, we are proud of our very friendly staff, which combined with the ‘barn’ character setting and decor makes us a special place for a meal in our lovely air conditioned Grill restaurant, or a drink and snack in our air conditioned bar and conservatory.

Our beef sources

We wish to reassure our customers regarding the sources and quality of our beef products. Our steaks, for which we have an excellent reputation, are 28 day matured British beef and are supplied by a very reputable local butcher, as are all of our other meats.  We do not purchase any processed or prepared meat products and dishes such as beefburger, lasagne and cottage pie are all prepared fresh in our kitchen.

The Barn is privately owned and the same management team have successfully operated this business for the owners, since they purchased this business in 1992, ensuring consistent standards through their commitment and genuine pleasure in working in such an attractive pub-restaurant, which has recently undergone a refurbishment of the restaurant to create a more attractive and comfortable environment but at the same time retaining its special character.
