COVID-19 – Staying Safe

Although all legal restrictions relating to COVID-19 have now been removed, we would like to share with you the procedures which we have in place to reassure you that we are acting responsibly, with your safety remaining paramount.

Bar Service

• You are still able to order from our App with our team serving food and drink at your table.  Alternatively, you are welcome to order food and drink directly from the bar.

Hygiene and Safety

• Our current strict cleaning regimes will remain in place.
• Sanitising dispensers remain in place and we encourage you to use them as best practice.
• We have updated our risk assessment and continue to communicate and train our team on safety measures.
• We are blessed with having lots of windows and therefore good fresh air circulation,and when the windows do have to be closed, our air conditioning equipment in both the bar and restaurant is an effective alternative.
• Please do not visit us if you have any symptoms of COVID-19, such as a new persistent cough, high fever, or loss of sense of smell or taste.
• Special care will be taken to ensure the best standards of food handling, cleanliness and hygiene. We are proud that The Barn has received the maximum 5 star Food Hygiene rating from the Food Standards Agency for many, many years.

Lovely visit. We really enjoyed our meal at The Barn. Lovely food, and we felt very safe. All COVID precautions were taken. Milo our waiter took great care of us, went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable with the arrangements, and made sure we had everything we needed. A real treat thank you

Lively atmosphere, steak and ale pie! Great atmosphere, COVID safety taken very seriously and the steak and Guinness pie was absolutely spot on!

Trio of desserts. Lovely midweek meal out with hubby. Covid rules adhered to very well. Good social distancing. Very good server. Very friendly and professional. Had slight hiccup with the order but this was rectified straight away. Service was great, good excellent. I had lamb rump and hubby had burger, both delicious. The trio of desserts was yummy. Would highly recommend.
