The Grill Restaurant
Our philosophy is "to serve freshly prepared food, using high quality raw materials at unbeatable prices."
The menu has evolved over recent years, taking account of fashion changes and is currently based on grills and Mediterranean specialities, (including fresh pasta). We have a great reputation for steaks, using only prime mature british beef.
In addition to the attractively priced a la carte dishes, we have a selection of fixed priced menus, with lots of choice, ranging from two courses for £13.50, three courses plus coffee for £18.50 and a special menu, which is particularly popular for small parties - 3 courses plus coffee and a bottle of excellent French wine per person for only £26.00.
In addition a new Tapas style menu has now been introduced with a wide selection of interesting smaller size portions at tiny prices! Dining Tapas style can be great fun sharing lots of dishes whether there are only two of you or with a party of friends.
Make it "The Barn on Sundays" - 3 course lunch (lot of choice including roast prime topside of beef) plus coffee for only £13.95 (children up to 12 years - £7.95) served in the Grill.
If you prefer something quicker or more informal, have lunch in our lovely bar or in the garden - choose individual dishes from the same menu served in the restaurant or a snack from the bar menu.
Our restaurant is particularly attractive and popular for small parties - birthdays, engagements, "nights out" or any other excuse for a party. Great quality, large portions and exceptional value are our raison d' etre.
The food is complemented with a superb wine list giving a choice of 10 house wines, available by the bottle or in a small carafe and a further selection of wines from Europe and New World countries. We genuinely believe that our wine list is the best value quality wine list in the area.
