If you prefer something quicker or more informal our main bar, like the restaurant has a great atmosphere with wooden beams and log fires in the winter. Our beautiful new orangery links the award winning garden with the bar, which adds an alternative area for customers to enjoy a drink or snack.
Extensive bar snacks ranging from sandwiches to hot dishes and home-made “pub-grub” including great burgers made with 100% prime British beef.
Terrific range of drinks, including two real ales, wide selection of lagers and at least ten wines available by the glass.
Mouthwatering platters of both continental cold meats and a selection of cheeses with garnishes – to be enjoyed in the pub, beer garden or orangery any time! Great for sharing – 9.75 per platter

Interesting shots.I arranged to meet someone here, it was a nice day so we sat out in the garden which is a lovely area just off to the side of the venue. We were there on a Wednesday and it wasn’t very buys, but it slowly filled up until there was quite busy. We ordered wine and a pint which was all very nice, the staff knew what they were talking about and there was an interesting range of shots like rhubarb and custard. The pub was clean and very tidy, the toilets were in a good condition and the staff were attentive. The Barn has a good presence on social media and I was able to follow them on the usual platforms, I also managed to appear in one of their photos on Twitter (so I am glad I did my hair). But it is a good way of finding out what they have on offer and what events are coming up. This is a big plus in my books. It was clean, prices were reasonable, staff were good and the loos were clean.

Best cheese board in Kent.
One of our favourites. The interior space of this place is well thought out. It has a large area in the bar itself and a large conservatory and an outside space than can only be described as a grotto, which looks fab when it is lit in the evening. Now to the point. A cheese board from our experience can be a bit hit and miss but the one they serve here is a massive hit and if was music vinyl it would have beaten Bryan Adams by miles. What you get is a fantastic cheese selection, with various pickles and wait for it…. ta dah …bread. Yes real bread and crusty bread at that and thick slices and loads of it. Now that’s what a cheese board should be. Not some weird stale crackers or weird stale bread or processed bits of small cheese. Hats off management you have got this spot on and for us best Cheese Board in Kent. The place is great too the beers and wine selection are first class.
